despite the anti seria a aura in this forum roma remains a very good side in a good league but non the less without sounding like an arrogant we should win this game .
i'm talking realistically here,we have a much better team and better players.
but in order for us to win(by us i mean the bayern players)we should bring our A game cause winning against roma in the Olimpico will be very hard and diffiuclt task.
i watched couple of seria a games and especially roma's matches this season(my bro is a huge roma fan)so what i've noticed from watching roma is that they struggle to cope with fast passing and play, their defence can't really handle fast build up play.
but if teams play slow passing or long ranged passing they can handle and deal with these situations very well, when the play is slow they can just reorganize their defence.
so my personal thoughts is that we must play fast with 1 2 passing to break throught their defence and emphasize more on playing through the flanks rather than the middle (in both attack&defence).

I'm not going to put my head in the oven by being arrogant and saying we will thrash them. I can only hope for a victory and a sound performance. Nothing about this match will be easy.

Nevermind expecting a win, I just expect a great game. Roma is a great team and I can see all sorts of results coming from this match. Still, a win would be very much appreciated.

I want us to humilate them at their stadium for one reason..
How their fans treated Benatia

I guess Mahdi will be having a hard time at the Olimpico

I think Pep will not play Benatia because that would be unnecessary in this game, it will be very hard for him and he didn't had much match practice recently anyway. Given players form Robben can be kept as a super sub, Gotze & Muller really deserve to start this game. Also as we have much better attacking players and with most important central midfielders injured I would prefer to play with Alonso - Lahm duo instead of trio in midfield which will allow to field one more attacking player, more precisely:
Lewandowski
Ribery - Gotze - Muller
Alonso - Lahm
Alaba - Dante - Boateng - Rafinha

I'm just afraid of how roma will threaten us.....hope no one will get injury this time....because the last time i watched roma vs juve, it's a bloody hell game...full of tackles and card....i bet there will be a lot of yellow cards for both team

Sorry mate but you never leave the CL Robben on the bench!
He is a totally higher level different player in these games.
Ribery and Muller as supersubs are more than enough.

I know that Pep will play Lahm as RCM, but I'm scared to even think Rafinha facing Zervinho.
At least let Rode facing him. He'll manage having Lahm's assistance and doublemarking.

Boateng will neutralize Totti, no problem!

I would like to see this

#gotze #lewandowski #robben

#alaba----------#lahm
#alonso

#bernat #boateng #benatia #rode

#neuer

p.s Of course my personal preference will always be Lahm as RB and Rode as RCM in that case!

The team bus arrived yes but the team itself won't reach Rome until roughly 4 pm today as they'll still have a training session in Munich beforehand.

Just google the flg
