He by far is not the worst player in our squad, and earning alot goes back to his contract when we wanted him and he scored tons of goals -- that can't be changed right this second. He will do much better under LvG like alot of other players -- who had to endure all kinds of bad life at Bayern when Klinsmann was in charge. We will see Toni do well again.

They're also linked with Crouch which is much more likely. I can't see them being able to satisfy Toni's wage demands, nor can I see going there. If he leaves Bayern, he'll return to Italy.

I wouldn't rule out a move to Milan just yet, they've missed out on all their targets: Huntelaar, Dzeko, Adebayor, Fabiano.

Let Toni go~~ We have enough strikers in Bayern.
No matter where he will go, leave is the best choice for him.

I just heard a rumour that he got relegated to train with the reserves.

Can it be true? Seems odd.

Hmmm, I've just read about it. From what I understand, van Gaal is supposedly not happy with Toni's fitness and demoted him to train/play with the reserves until he gets fit. But, the media are interpreting this story differently, to add fuel to the speculations claiming Toni is set for exit.

I doubt there's any truth in this anyway, as the German media have not reported about it. But even if it was true, it wouldn't really be shocking, as it has happened to other FC Bayern players in the past and they haven't complained. There's really nothing wrong with it.

Any coach gives their players time in the reserves to recover after an injury or to increase fitness, as not to affect the first team's results. The media always makes an overblown situation out of nothing. Those bastards.

Bayern play down talk of Luca Toni moving to West Ham

Quote:
BAYERN MUNICH have played down talk of West Ham snapping up striker Luca Toni on loan.

They insist they have not held talks with the Hammers about a potential switch.

Director of sport Christian Nerlinger said: "There is no bid regarding Toni.

"And we are not really considering his future."

Bayern Munich's Luca Toni Will Join West Ham United - Agent

Quote:
It would not be a surprise to see a World Cup winner back gracing the pitch at West Ham's Boleyn Ground...

Gianfranco Zola's close connection with Italian World Cup winner Luca Toni, together with the player not receiving much pitch-time, could be the catalysts that spark the striker's switch from Bayern Munich to West Ham United, according to agent Jose Alberti.

The Bundesliga powerhouse are yet to receive a bid from the Irons for the tall front-man, who has led a journeyed career, representing Palermo, Fiorentina, Brescia, Empoli and Medina, amongst others.

Alberti is quoted by TMW as saying, "I think it will happen.

"At Bayern [Toni] is not playing and Zola is a great friend of his."

Hammers fans would relish the chance to welcome Toni to the club's Boleyn Ground, where Bobby Moore, England's iconic World Cup winning captain, received his footballing education at the club's academy before going on to pull on the claret & blue jersey for 16 years.

Toni is allegedly one of two candidate strikers on Zola's shortlist - the other is Inter's burgeoning forward Mario Balotelli.

15 Million for Toni? Yeah right. If they offered 10 I'd be really impressed.

Louis Van Gaal has given Luca Toni a few days off to recharge batteries.

Luca has travelled to Italy. Van Gaal: "Perhaps he can find new motivation."

Toni will visit another doctor there and it is unknown when he'll return to Munich.
