Is really good to have Pizarro back, what a shame he left back in the day.

With 7 games in the next 3 weeks, do you think there's a chance Pizarro could start 1 or 2 of them to give Mandzukic a rest? I'd like for him to get a real chance since he won't even make the bench when Gomez comes back.

Damn Pizarro has to seize his chances before Gomez comes back. He has to score at least 3 Bundesliga goals this year to become the 10th highest scorer in its history and beat Rummenigge

Yesterday, Claudio Pizarro became the most foreigner to be capped in the BL history, contributing in 337 games, beating the records of Ze Roberto and Levan Kobiashvili who have 336 games each.

Last year he was the best attacker in average (to shitty) team and he was the center of atention of all midfielders etc... And also a year younger...

This year he is the least good attacker in an awesome team where everyone (even Gustavo) can score on their own...

Do the math yourself...

I think Mandzo should start every game from now on until Gomez is back (atleast) and Pizarro should get the chances from the bench... I like Pizarro, only thing I don't like about him that he shot down Elber's record... But to be honest, he isn't good enough atm to be a starter for FCB and Mandzo is way ahead of him - it's a shame to leave him on the bench because with him team plays much better (he's stronger, faster etc.)...

^I agree with you, he is the 3rd option now

but he was always in the offside position, he can't dribble anymore and his ball control is somehow shit this season
I don't know, hope he'll regain his form

He still carries a reputation though. If he doesn't score/assist for a few more starts, we won't see a lot of him for the rest of the season once Gomez is back. We'll maybe see him starting last year's away to City like matches.

dit- also, if Heynckes starts him, he thinks he's a safe quality to start. And i agree with him.
