Bayern have got to win something for Heynckes. As much I've bashed him, I'm going to miss him next year.

So, Bayern get a young coach, plus a coach who has dealt with big names, plus one who's used to high profile.

Brilliant news! Massive for the Bundesliga and Bayern and he should do well here. Also, perhaps an oppurtunity to attract other types of players?

Jupp's tactics and attacking football. I can't believe we won't see that after this season
Demolishing Lille 5-0 in one half. Never gonna forget that.

Don't mix Jupp with Ribery.
Heynckes does leave a perfect situation (at least provisionally, right now) for Pep.

I understand why people are unsure, but one thing is for certain, he isn't a bad manager. He's not going to win us the Champions League every year but I think there's a very good chance he will make a good improvement to us. Even if he is of equal quality to Jupp, the size of the appointment is huge in itself.

Very excited about this!

Although, I just hope that Jupp can leave in style. With the Bundesliga looking good I think has already done that.

Whelp, you can't say it's not ambitious. Welcome to Bayern, Guardiola.

I'm still amazed that we managed to sign him for 3 seasons, that's huge.

Me too. We didn't learn anything from LVG (recent example). Remember the "exalted" contract extension or something of that nature? Both ex-Barcelona.
