Badstuber in tz-Interview: We are Bayern and we can beat anyone

Quote:
Mr. Badstuber, the new EA Sports Fifa 11 is on the market. Have you played it?

Badstuber: Of course. It's more realistic than the previous and quite fun.

Are you proud of winning against Basel?

Badstuber: We have won, struggled and turned the game. We have great skill, but we have to get out of this phase in which we are currently and focus again.

Is this a final on Sunday (against Dortmund)?

Badstuber: It's so important, we have already lost to many points. . Dortmund is a good team, but we are Bayern and we can beat anyone. That is our goal.

Last year you won there 5-1. Do you trust the team to do it again?

Badstuber: I trust the team completely, but we shouldn't exaggerate on the victory against Dortmund last year. Right now many are skeptical towards us, but we have a lot of potential and we will take the chance.

Daniel van Buyten currently doesn't seem quite solid in the back.

Badstuber: I will not say anything about Daniel. He gave us the victory against Hoffenheim, he is an important player for us.

Does the team trust him?

Badtsuber: We trust each other, on Sunday we have to prove we are able to score.

Do you find that central defense is strong enough?

Badstuber: Of course we can always improve, refine the collaboration. We know there are several things to improve, but we will not criticize each other, ateast not publicly.

Badstuber maybe u don't want to talk about Van Buyten, but we the fans r sick and tired of him.

Badstuber: Why Bayern is in crisis

Quote:
"Compared to the previous season team hasn't been as organized and we are without the tactical security from last year."

"Our individual errors have caused us to concede silly goals and quickly get behind. Though it can't be reduced completely to individual errors, the responsability lies in the whole team."

Badstuber? Out of our defense I would say that Lahm has been the best (quite clearly), but surely after him comes Badstuber.

I would say more like Van Buyten (he's just the same old joke) and Demichelis (after his performance against Dortmund I really don't want hi to play again) are part of the crisis. That and obviously our strikers impotence to score.

Badstuber isn't fantastic but has been as solid as he can be in the back line. The main problem is the other two CB's we have. I don't know which one is worse.

Badstuber is fine in the starting 11. I do agree to snap up Hummels.
He is also a very good defender. He would like to come back to Bayern.
