Just saw Badstuber's fuck up replay, seemed a mistake due to rustiness, bad first touch.

I think the main problem is still he's too slow. And due to his injury problems, he cannot play aggressively like before, look at that sliding tackle

Even if he was faster no way he could've made the tackle, the ball got too far from him into Niang's feet.

Pretty disappointing if only preseason. Milan is a team we should've beaten up on. Anyway, onto the next one!

Another game showed us we can't rely on Martinez and Badstuber. They couldn't deal with Niang's speed. we desperately need a 3rd CB, Moreover, Alonso's defending is getting worse year by year.

Only young player who made positive impact was Erdal Öztürk.

2 defensive errors and a deflection ...
I don't know if our board and Ancelotti think that with Neuer, Boateng & Hummels those blunders won't happen but this match wasn't impressive at all in its defensive part

Let's see what will happen but maybe another good CB would be a better idea

I hope those games make our board reconsider about closing this transfer window.

The lack of alternatives esp. in the CD position was more than obvious.
Thank God King Frank seems to be in very good shape.

I want to believe of course that all that Konalloti and Ancelottiraus stuff was just trolling.

Our team has great potential with 2-3 additions to be the Kings of Europe again.

When you buy Hummels already it's tough to find other quality options given that Hummels & Boa will be the default CB pairing, that supply of quality CB's is very limited.

Apart from Mustafi I really can't think of any realistic signings.

Laporte, Marquinhos and Varare are all too expensive and I'm not even going to suggest Stones...

Rumors are that Mustati is available for only 25 million as opposed to his 50 million buyout clause, but I've been unable to verify this with a good source.

I do hope Bayern get another CB plus another attacking player.

Back on topic, I didn't see the match but I did read that Ribery & Alaba were playing well again, this bodes well for the coming season.

Why don't they ever think of Hoewedes.
His body Neuer is here. Wouldn't he like to come?

True, he's very versatile, can play CB and also fullback positions (of course he's no Lahm or Alaba, but in case of emergency).

Signing him would allow Ancelotti to play with a back three, unless Javi gets back to 100% fitness.

But poaching another Schalke Captain wouldn't go down well.

Also I do recall that he preferred to move abroad but would he say 'no' to Bayern, unlikely...
