if Hummels is fit

Neuer

Lahm - Boateng - Hummels - Alaba

Kimmich
Thiago - Vidal

Robben - Lewandowski - Ribery

even though Javi is in a very good form

I would not risk playing Boahum, Bummels or whatever we call them, from start for the first time.. Martinez had a great period as a CB for Bilbao, I would feel safer with a player who is familiar with the Spanish league.

I think when both Hummels and Boateng is fit Martinez should be lifted up to midfield. Ancelotti will probably not be as much against Martinez in midfield as Pep was.

Robben won't be risked against such a physical team.

Neuer - Lahm, Martinez (or Hummels), Boateng, Alaba - Vidal, Alonso, Thiago - Müller, Lewandowski, Ribéry ...

I'm probably alone on this one, but I think Xabi's ability to distribute from the back could be key in this game.

I would field this XI

Ribéry----------Lewy----------Müller
----------------Vidal---Thiago
-----------------------Xabi
Alaba-Hummels-Boateng-Lahm

And I hope Lewy brings his scoring boots

I notice that Atletico and Real are very average teams. Both will be found out against infinitely superior teams in Dortmund and Bayern. In particular, I can't wait to see Atletico in this match against the intimidating Lewy + Muller - they will be well beaten, by multiple goals probably.

Bayern are miles better than anything in La Liga so I expect to see an exhibition from the Germans.

I hope we bash this fuckers. Still bitter from the exit we had against them in the SF. They were so damn lucky.

Exactly.

Good news regarding Hummels.

Why is there a sign on your cage saying "Don't feed the troll"?

It will be a tricky match

if we can score first , I think we will end up scoring again ; but if they score first , I think it will be tough and we will lose/get a draw

Lewandowski & Muller should be in good form and shouldn't waste easy chances or else we will be in big trouble

I don't think Robben will start , but he should play at least 30 minutes

I really like this line up, but not for this game. Javi has been one of our best players so far under Ancelotti but he's always been playing as a CB. I think upsetting that chemistry and moving him forward into the midfield might end up backfiring. He has plenty of experience alongside Boateng and so far him and Hummels have been fantastic together too.

I'd like a Thiago - Kimmich - Vidal midfield
