Use the same formation we played with it against Mainz , but with Vidal instead of Lahm

And I don't really care about the result , I want us to get used to 4-2-3-1 (hopefully) and play some fluid and direct football

Yeah and keep a clean sheet that I think it's somehow impossible but still ...

Lmao at people leaving out Thiago, especially after last game.

probably becouse they judge players based on consistency...from that point of view Thiago is not a master like we all know, that being said i would start him today as I'm curious to see if he can keep up last match performance, even in a "glorified friendly"

He's consistently been our best midfielder this season. Let's be honest, people here don't judge Thiago by consistency, they judge him simply to find him wanting because they WANT him to be bad.

I think both opinions are extreme

Thiago isn't bad , but isn't consistently our best midfielder

Against Rostov he was pure shit , against Leverkusen he was good, against Mainz he was world class (3 different performances in one week)
The thing about him is obvious: he is inconsistent

But I will start him today

He's had more good games this season than literally anyone else on the team, dude. I'm sick of arguing this point with people who have the long-term memory of goldfish.

Everyone was more or less shit against Rostov though. If they weren't, we wouldn't fuckin lose.

That doesn't necessarily mean he is CONSISTENTLY our BEST midfielder

And I can't remember a bad performance from Kimmich
