Thiago and Rudy never started together. I'm curious to see them play together.

or at least play ... he can come in the 2nd half and play some 30-35 mins for example

but if he didn't play at all then I think there is something wrong

Jupp is not dumb. He knows very well...if we want to succeed this season we need James top fit and ready to play. He had tough game for Columbia, had a long trip...we played against Freiburg, why should we risk him at all.

I expect him to play against Celtic from the start. We should look out for Robben, he is 33 and injury prone. We need him a lot more than Ribery for example.

Yeah it was hard for James. He had to play the WC qualifiers, then go to the US to play for Columbia and only then he came back to Germany.

I wouldn't be surprised if James doesn't start. He hasn't played a single game for Jupp, and will only have what, 2 or 3 practices since back from international break? And it's a CL game. I would hope he does at least get some time in the second half though

Him traveling from South America is a pretty lame excuse to me. Plenty of EPL players that were also playing qualifiers played a full 90 mins yesterday....

it's not.

Jupp said in the press confrence that James came back from his NT duty late and only trained once with the team before the Freiburg game.
he said before the game that he wont play. I don't know why you guys are complaining when he said before hand that he wont play.

Yeah, like Guardiola who played Fernandinho, Otamendi and Jesus ?

We know what happen to Guardiola's team in february/april ... tired, burned.

It's a good thing to give a rest to those SA players, even more if we can play without them.
